INFORMATION RELEASED ON PRIME’S FRONT OFFICE, BACKSTAGE, AND ON-AIR STAFF
News Story
January 8, 2022
Las Vegas, Nevada
Exciting news coming out of Vegas today as PRIME has revealed some of its staff that will be at the promotion’s helm during its rebirth…and most of the names will be very familiar to long-time fans.
Lindsay Troy will be serving as President, CEO and Showrunner and will be assisted by Hall of Famers Matthew “Tchu” Ward and “The Supreme Machine” Killean Sirrajin, who will serve as Executive Vice Presidents overseeing talent relations, talent development and strategy.
Blaine Blair returns as Chief Operating Officer, the position he held during PRIME’s farewell run in 2012, and former showrunner and VP of talent, Lisa Tyler, has been promoted to Chief Financial Officer. David Walter Smith, formerly known as “Logic” in the Fans Wrestling Organization and in PRIME, has accepted the position of General Counsel after earning his law degree post-wrestling career.
Hall of Fame announcers Nick Stuart and Richard Parker will return to the booth to call the action once again, aided by the smooth baritone voice of long-time ring announcer Vince Howard. Backstage interviewers Angelica Brooks and Matt Mills are set to return as well and will be joined by junior reporter Simon Tillier.
With the retirement of former PRIME referees Bernie Roberts, Tommy Giles, and Max Newell, the new referee crew will be headed up by former professional wrestler and multi-time champion “The Samoan Silencer” Timo Bolamba. Elvis Nixon returns as a senior referee and newcomers Ashley Barlow and Jimmy “Turnbuckles” Turnbull round out the crew.
Dr. Astrid Fihlguud, daughter of former PRIME doctor Dr. Victor Fihlguud, will serve as medical director and head doctor. She’ll be joined by some of the best and brightest athletic trainers and medical staff in the country today.
And finally, fan and wrestler favorite Dametreyus returns to run the security team and keep the PRIME stars in line alongside former PRIME wrestler “The ‘Bama Bruiser” Wade Elliott. To help the big men out? The Enemigos, of course! The decorated luchadores have, unsurprisingly, grown in number over the years, which will only aid Dam and Wade in keeping things under control.
We hope.
Additional details on staff will be released in the coming days.
