LAS VEGAS — PRIME Wrestling has joined the Phoenix Wrestling Alliance, an interpromotional alliance that also features SHOOT Project, Sanctioned Violence Organization, Missouri Valley Wrestling, Online Championship Wrestling, and High Octane Wrestling. Several wrestlers from the other partner organizations have signed with the PWA. Lead reporter Angelica Brooks has learned that The Anglo Luchador has become the first wrestler in PRIME to put pen to paper and sign with the interfed group.
“This is an exciting time for pro wrestling,” the current Intense Champion said to Brooks, “and I want to be on the ground floor. PRIME was the undisputed king of the old Primetime Central, and I want to make double-damn sure we’re the king of the PWA.”
While he wants to show PRIME’s supremacy in the new group, the Luchador has maintained that he is not only here to tangle with the top companies.
“There are diamonds in the rough everywhere. I want to search them out and wrestle them and leave no doubt that we are the best.”
The Anglo Luchador is the first, but he will almost certainly not be the last. Still, this is a bold statement from the Intense Champion.
“In closing, I just want to say, as long as the Queen [CEO Lindsay Troy] is okay with it, I will defend my title anywhere as well. I’m serious about this. PRIME is number one by definition.”
