BREAKING NEWS: The Anglo Luchador Appears in Mexico
News Story
SAN LUIS POTOSI, Mexico – The Anglo Luchador shocked thousands in attendance by appearing at HLL Uno’s Midweek Mayhem show in San Luis Potosi tonight, Wednesday, February 1, and getting physical with the monstrous El Monolito. Coming off the heels of a BRUTAL match where he lost the PRIME Intense Championship to Paxton Ray in a barbed wire ropes match, the Luchador opened the show, calling out anyone who would come out and face him. Oohs and aahs erupted from the crowd as his body was still covered in visible scars and scabs from his barbed wire war.
HLL Uno officials were unaware that the appearance would happen, and they sent referees to the ring to talk him down from his tirade. PRIME medical officials Dr. Astrid Fihlguud and Dr. Graham Early explicitly did not clear him for any action in the immediate aftermath of the bloodbath that closed ReVival 21. He has not been booked for ReVival 22. However, the medical advice did not stop him from heading to Mexico to make the unannounced appearance.
Although officials tried their best, they could not dissuade The Anglo Luchador from his ambitions. He remained in the ring, calling out anyone who wanted a piece of him, and he got the worst, or best depending on point of view, possible wrestler answering his call. El Monolito, the 350-lb. behemoth, lumbered to the ring to answer the challenge. Officials had a difficult time holding both men back, and after a few verbal barbs exchanged, the two exploded into fisticuffs. Shortly after their fistfight began, Monolito backed the Luchador into the corner of the ring and peppered him with body blows on his already-tenderized skin. His wounds from ReVival 21 reopened, oozing blood. Monolito attempted his AVALANCHA~! chokeslam finisher on the Luchador, but at the last second, the former Champion kicked the massive wrestler in the shins.
Before the two wrestlers could resume their fight, the HLL Uno locker room spilled out from the back to keep the two from each other. The Anglo Luchador was forcibly removed from the building for the evening. The PRIME office has made no official comment yet, but our sources say Lindsay Troy was making phone calls before her business dinner with Ivan Stanislav, furious at the lack of discretion shown by the former champion. However, one aide speaking on a condition anonymity says she is not surprised in the least.
