Stanislav Announces PWA-02 Representative

Earlier today, Ivan Stanislav gave a press conference from Red Square, in which he announced his proxy representative for PWA-2.

For background- PWA-01 was held on January 14, 2023 and was headlined by HOW World Champion Christopher America versus PRIME Stanislav in a classic USA vs. Russia bout. Though the big Russian was the victor, clearly this was but a battle in a much larger war.

The next flashpoint was announced for PWA-02, which will be held on June 10 and 11, 2023. Instead of Stanislav and America locking up once more, they have been requested to choose proxy representatives to participate in a flag match. The individual who wins would then grant their representative the advantage of choosing a stipulation for an impending PWA-03 match.

Stanislav has been mum regarding his choice for a representative. Despite announcing several times that there were “plenty” of PRIME wrestlers asking for the opportunity to wrestle in his name, not a single wrestler was willing to speak to this claim. To the contrary, many refuted it as mere propaganda from The Russian Bear.

Nevertheless, the seven-foot plus Russian stood in his military uniform before the Kremlin Wall at Red Square today and made his announcement. It was a grand affair, with a raised platform and a dozen Russian flags blowing behind him on an otherwise blustery day. A large projection screen was erected high over his head as Stanislav spoke to a throng of cheering Russians. Paddy Wagons and police were present on the outskirts.

Said Stanislav (with translation):

“I know the world has been waiting with baited breath to hear the announcement of my proxy representative at PWA-02. As we all know, I already whipped the American Dog, Christopher America, back in January. It appears they still need to give Fido some time off. So be it.

This person would not just be fighting for PRIME and myself, but for the honor or Russia. This makes the decision difficult. Who could possibly fill the shoes of your national champion? Who could possibly represent the strong people of Russia against the wickedness of America?

“Believe it or not, the choice was relatively simple. I had to pick someone who I know truly oves Russia, deep down, and has a great deal of respect for me. I had to pick someone who truly loves the Russian people, even if they are too nervous to admit it publicly. I also had to pick someone who I know would be willing to put potential petty differences aside to understand the importance of this match. For the honor of PRIME is also at stake!

So, my dear friends, the choice was simple.”

At this Stanislav grinned and pointed behind him at the large screen.

“I direct your attention to the screen behind me. The individual who will represent Russia and myself at PWA-02 is none other than…”

The image on the screen emerged just as Stanislav finally made the announcement to the silent crowd. The screen lit up with the red, white, and blue Russian flag beaming outward, while superimposed on it was none other than one of the PRIME legends. It was unmistakable.

“LINDSAY TROY”

Few would have expected a picture of “The Queen of the Ring” in front of the Russian flag, but there it was for all to see. Stanislav then erupted into laughter as the crowd, stunned by this announcement, eventually began to clap. With arms raised, Stanislav boomed to the assembled crowd and press:

“Yes, the Harbinger of War, The Murder Buzzsaw, The Eternal Ace, The Final Boss, The End of the Road, The Lady of The Hour, The Renaissance Woman, The Benchmark, The GOAT! And now, she has the most proud moniker of all! The Scarlet Sickle! Lindsay Troy will represent me, you, and all of Russia at PWA-02 and bring swift defeat to whoever Christopher America chooses! DYAAAHAAHAA!!”

Yes indeed, a red sickle was then imposed across Troy’s chest on the screen, like some superhero. Stanislav then stared directly into the hard cam and grinned.

“Do not let us down, Lindsay, eh? You come to Russia and we will have dinner in your honor! DYAAHAAHAA!! Christopher America? The Scarlet Sickle, Lindsay Troy, will carve your proxy up and leave them in tatters. And I will see you at PWA-03! Come with new move so I defeat you with that as well, yes? DYAAHAAHAA!!”

Troy and Stanislav have, to put it mildly, a dysfunctional relationship in PRIME as the avowed Communist attacks the owner of the federation at any turn. No word has been received from Lindsay Troy or the PRIME front office, but this is a rapidly developing story.
