Spoken through the lips of the man himself during a segment in the most recent episode of ReVival, Tony Gamble has confirmed that No Laughing Matter will indeed be traveling to Japan and join an upcoming tour of BANG! Pro Wrestling. Despite a surprise attack from Anna Daniels that caught him off guard, and a cheap shot from Timo’s bastard son, Tony was valiant in a victory over Sage Pontiff and Darin Zion. When asked how he was able to muster the strength needed to overcome such odds, the former Jewel in the Crown champion had this to say.
“I’m no stranger to having to overcome the odds to find success in PRIME. After the dire situation I was left to deal with in recovering from my injuries at UltraViolence last year, I put aside my need to focus on rehabilitation and stepped back in the ring and fought through the pain. This was no different, as I once again put my own health at risk by competing in a match I was not medically cleared to be a part of. I do this for the millions upon millions of fans that have shown their adoration for me, because I will not be held down by those that pray for me to fail. Continue to pray, but know that Hoyt isn’t listening to you.”
We here at the PRIME news desk apologize for not including this in the ReVival 26 News and Notes. Maybe Fruit shouldn’t be a procrastinating dum dum and not wait until the last minute to get an entry in.
