Independent wrestling star Angel Quinley, known as one half of rising dare devil tag team The New World Trash, died Friday at the age of 24.
Known for her aerial ability, ‘The Eternal Sunrise’ became a favorite amongst those in the wrestling world. Whether it was through her acrobatics, her toughness, or her propensity for using social media while inebriated, top officials in the industry have long viewed her as a potential star talent with tremendous upside. It has long been rumored that she, along with her tag team partner, Bex Savage, have contracts with PRIME, but this has never been officially corroborated.
Quinley, thought to have suffered a concussion early in a first round contest for the 2023 Milo Flynn Memorial Cup, later on in the same match appeared to slip and fell violently on her head. Those close claim that they saw her suffer seizures, and she was rushed to United Hospital for emergency surgery involving a traumatic brain injury and a skull fracture. Unfortunately, it she passed on the operating table.
We offer condolences to Quinley’s friends and family in the wake of this tragic news.
