COLOSSUS X NIGHT TWO OPENING VIDEO
The old man’s head falls to the pillow of his hospital bed, labored breaths pushing through cracked lips.
A grainy flashback to Colossus VI, where Jason Snow caught Kaiser Vashaun with the Snake Eyes, knocking him out cold before he even hit the mat.
“I remember when the Original Villain held both belts up high!”
Snow looks between the Five Star Championship in one hand, and the Universal Title in the other, his eyes caught in the reflection of each.
The old man coughs, chest bucking up from the mattress.
“When the Emperor of Endings reigned over the Prince of Delusion!”
Colossus VII, in the darkest of days. Castor V. Strife falls to the mat after connecting The Director’s Cut on Vangelus Olsig. Bernie Roberts crouches down and places the Universal Title in Strife’s motionless hand.
“And I remember the end! When the Queen set the Wrecking Ball free!”
Colossus VIII. The Long Farewell. A sunset flip powerbomb from the Sovereign, countering the InHuman Being’s Downfall. Three final slaps against the mat to close the book on the ReVolution era of PRIME.
The old man collapses, mouth agape, collecting his breath in silence.
Before he bolts upright in his bed, his sheets flying forward, eyes wide.
“BUT IT WASN’T THE END!!
Colossus 2022. Hayes Hanlon vs. Cancer Jiles.
“I’LL REMEMBER THE REVIVAL! WHEN A DREAM CAME TRUE!”
The Event Horizon crushes Jiles into the mat with the Super Massive, before cutting to Nova and Brandon Youngblood hoisting the new Universal Champion to their shoulders.
And in a flurry, the scene shifts to New Orleans, and the roaring crowd inside the Superdome.
“I’LL REMEMBER THE BUTCHER, AND THE GRENDEL!”
The headshots of combatants start meeting at center screen. The snarling visage of Paxton Ray one one side, and the focused face of Rich Patterson.
“THE LEGACY! AND THE MAN BORN AGAIN!”
Eddie Cross lifts two fists with a grin, and Max Kael? smiles that wicked, wild smile.
The old man claws at his mattress, bottom row of teeth jutting forward.
“THE FUTURE’S DIAMOND! AND THE EMERALD APEX!”
Colton adjusts his letterman’s jacket, and Kerry Kuroyama turns to showcase his wide back, covered in tattoos.
“THE GLUE! AND THE MASTERS!”
Joe Fontaine and Sid Phillips brush off their own sparkly duds on one side of the screen, while Kenny Freeman and Randall Schwartz cheese at the camera like the hams they are.
Jared Sykes rolls a shoulder.
“AND THE HAMMER!”
And Hayes Hanlon curls his ‘stache.
The old man coughs, his fingers flexing and extending, fighting to stay upright.
“…and the BEAR. The Bear, and the Neck Collector…”
A hard shift, back to ReVival 38. To the return of FLAMBERGE, and his defiant staredown of Ivan Stanislav. The Russian Bear.
The Intense Champ. Against the Universal.
The old man remains seated, frozen.
Until he gives out, and falls back against the pillow of the hospital bed.
He wheezes. Yet somehow…
“How…how could I possibly forget…”
Then the PRIME logo, followed by white letters.
