Victory Day
9 May 2023
Red Square, Moscow
Delivered 4:26 PM Moscow Standard Time
Friends, families, soldiers, and comrades!
It is with great pleasure that I stand before you all today, in the shadow of our great Kremlin Wall, to deliver a speech of remembrance. For today, we remember and honor the sacrifices of those who gallantly stood against fascism and delivered to the world that which can be so fleeting: Freedom.
I find myself at a disadvantage, for I was not alive at that time. No. I came later. And there are so few of our brave comrades who are still alive today from the Great Patriotic War. For us fortunate many, the Great Patriotic War may feel like a lifetime ago, but for those of us who have seen combat and weathered the storm of war, such things are never far from the heart and the mind.
How unsettling and wholly unfortunate it is that we find ourselves in such a climate today while we celebrate our people’s heroism! And not just our own people, but those of our allied nations who banded together to form, at that time, a great Union of nations who worked towards mutual betterment?
Still, the stain of fascism does not blot away easily, does it? We see it taking root in our neighbors’ hearts, and it must be dealt with. Not just to protect ourselves. No. But to protect them from themselves as well.
As our grand President Putin has stated, a certain “Russophobia” has been drummed up in the western nations. This is unwarranted and unfair. Their fearmongering and gaslighting have poised many good people against us. They have poisoned their minds and set aflame their hearts with feelings of hatred against us. Against our women. Against our innocent children.
I know this all too well.
For those who are not aware, I participate in a ritual of traveling to the United States, where I obliterate a sacrificial lamb regularly. These would-be competitors come in many shapes and sizes. Some are small. Some are larger. Some are fast. Others are strong. But there is one commonality amongst them all?
They are powerless against me. Against us! They wither against our might!
(Cheers)
For better, I have the unique opportunity to view our western neighbors frequently. For worse, I see how decrepit their hearts are.
In my experience, I have watched mental gymnastics the likes of which would make your head spin! It is completely impossible for my fellow competitors to give credit where credit is due! Vile, terrible attempts have been made to stymie my ascent in the federation known as PRIME. All to no avail. Victories that I have won have been negated due to “technicalities.”
(Boos)
But that will not stop a son of Russia, will it? That will not slow the inexorable will of the Russian people. For as we did so many years ago, so will we do it again next door, and abroad. We shall grind up our enemies and protect our sons and daughters.
Things are so upside-down in the west, that even the mere act of giving a gift to a woman, who is betrothed to a man, is viewed with ridicule and scorn. They are unable to recognize and celebrate simple human decency. Such is the rot that lives in their hearts and institutions! Yes. It is true. And it is sad. For I know that each and every one of you know that I, a representative of the best of our people, try my best to show others that the lies they have consumed for so long are nothing but falsities!
Despite the name calling and jokes at my expense, and thus by association at your expense, I have continued to show our enemies abroad that Russia will never bow to the fools of the world. We will never surrender to those who have stains on their hearts! We will work with those who are willing to look beyond their own peddled disinformation and strive, arm in arm, towards a better and more safe world for all of us to live!
(Cheers)
That is the responsibility of us, the Russian people, the protectors of prosperity and security. It is not an easy charge. Believe me, I know. I fight the battle all the time against sinister and nefarious forces day in and day out. But have we ever backed down from a challenge?!
(Resounding response in the negative)
Have we ever tucked our tails and ran?!
(Growing, more energetic response in the negative)
Will we ever start mimicking those in the west and do so?!
(Raucous responses in the negative from the attendees)
The war did not end in May 1945! Even if we wished that it had. It has changed, it has mutated, and it has morphed throughout the decades, and perhaps throughout the centuries. For so long as there are men and women with hatred, fear, and revulsion in their hearts, so too must we, the Russian people, combat them with every fiber of our being!
(Resounding cheers)
I stand before you today, on this day commemorating Victory, to declare that there have been victories, and there will be more! Our resolve will not shake! Our tenacity will not waver!! Our might cannot be overcome!!! For we, the Russian people, and those in our Federation and around the world who cling to the oft-forgotten hope of peace and goodwill will NEVER bow nor will be break to those who wish our men, women, and children harm!!!
(More cheers)
And for those who think they can achieve such a thing at our expense? You are doomed to failure!
Long may our people fight for that which is grand and good!
Long may our nation serve as a shining example of exemplary world leadership!!
Long may our great President Vladimir Putin continue to lead us to victory!!!
Comrades! Now and forever into the future shall we march towards peace and prosperity!
(Raucous applause as Stanislav exits)
