DATE: 12 June 2023 (one day post PWA-02)
CLASSIFICATION: SECRET
MEMORANDUM FOR: Praporshchik Ivan Sergeiovich Stanislav – Russian Ground Forces (Retired from Active Duty)
SUBJECT: PWA-02 Successes and Failures
FROM: Director R. Borisov. FSB
Praporshchik Stanislav,
This memorandum will be split into two parts. Please read both fully and understand them clearly.
Night One- The Defeat of the Colton Family
Allow me to be the voice of our countrymen when I express our overwhelming congratulations on your continued success in Phoenix Wrestling Alliance matches. Our team was quite happy with your conduct alongside Agent Ruslan, who handled himself ably in the wrestling ring. Even when paired alongside subpar partners, you both represented Russia in the way we always knew you would.
This Colton family had no chance of success, and it was only fitting that you were the one to pin them for the final victory. Intelligence shows that the Colton family is a fairly prolific family in wrestling circles, and their humiliation will go far to bolster our influence abroad. We project a marked increase in morale with Russians who watch your matches. Well done.
Night Two- The Failure of Achieve Total Victory
Praporshchik, Agent Ruslan informed us that it was your unilateral decision to choose the American, Lindsay Troy, to represent you on the second night of PWA-02. She wrestled in a “flag match” against Steven Solex.
There are several issues that have come to our attention:
Issue 1– We did not see any Russian flag present during the match. Unacceptable. However, we do not hold you responsible. You were, understandably, preoccupied with match preparation, as was Agent Ruslan.
Issue 2– Failure. Please note my sincerity when I state how tiring it is to write about failure. We still do not understand the thought process related to picking Ms. Troy as your representative. All intelligence shows that she is an adversary at the very least. Why make such a decision? Furthermore, she lost the match and in losing brought shame to Russia. Her failure has had a dampening effect on your success from the previous night. This responsibility does fall upon your shoulders.
Please read our directives below:
Directive 1– You are to denounce the absence of the Flag of the Russian Federation in the strongest terms possible. This has rendered the entire contest void. Your charge was unable to wrestle to the best of her ability without being inspired by our banner.
Directive 2– You are to publicly criticize Ms. Troy in the most vehement means possible. We strongly direct you to drag her name through the mud and leave it in tatters. Make it her fault. Not yours. Not Russia’s. She single-handledly failed in a contest that should have been quite winnable.
Directive 3– You are to report to my office at your earlier convenience to discuss next steps.
I look forward to seeing you. Bring Agent Ruslan along as well.
R. Borisov.

CLASSIFICATION: SECRET
MEMORANDUM FOR: Director R. Borisov. FSB
SUBJECT: RESPONSE- PWA-02 Successes and Failures
FROM: Praporshchik Ivan Sergeiovich Stanislav – Russian Ground Forces (Retired from Active Duty)
Director Borisov,
Allow me to first thank you for your laudatory words regarding our conduct on the first night of PWA-02. It is appreciated. I am certain you follow our progress closely.
In regards to your directives, please see my responses below:
Directive 1 (On denunciation of absence of Russian Flag)– I have already begun this process, as was obvious and simple to recognize.
Directive 2 (On criticizing Ms. Troy)– I will not criticize Ms. Troy in such a way. She fought valiantly and many factors which were outside of our control were at play. It is unbecoming to attack her after her spirited effort. Allow me to remind you that she could have refused my request. I have no regrets relating to my position. I will take full responsibility, regardless of perceived “optics.”
I understand your frustration. However, the fallout from the failure at the match will mean little in the long run.
Might I direct you to not attack her in relation to this situation as well. Nothing will come from it.
If you take issue with this course of action, you feel free to stop by my office. I believe you have the address.
Directive 3 (On visiting your office for next steps)– See the final sentence of Directive 2. I am understandably busy and frequently traveling abroad for my work. If necessary, Agent Ruslan can visit in my stead.
I hope this is clear to you,
Praporshchik Stanislav

Praporshchik Stanislav,
I am Ms. Ilyinishna. I helped craft the Scarlet Sickle outfit for Lindsay Troy. I was saddened to see she did not wear it during her match. I am also sorry for the outcome.
Praporshchik, considerable time and investment went into that outfit.
I only say this because I would very much prefer it be returned at your earliest convenience.
Thank you,
Ms. Ilyinishna
Alexei- This is the last thing I need to deal with right now. It is a shitstorm because of this loss. I let Troy keep the outfit. Maybe she’ll change her mind and wear it someday? You never know. She might want to join TRA eventually? Can you take care of this, old friend?

To: Praporshchik Stanislav
From: Dr. Valeria Mikhailovna
Subject: Medical Evaluation Following Forklift Accident
Praporshchik Stanislav,
Let me be the first to state how lucky you are not to have a career-ending injury. The tyne of that forklift nearly pierced a vital organ. Whoever did such a heinous act is clearly a madman!
I have to commend the doctor on staff at your wrestling organization. Her quick thinking and compassion may have staved off tremendous blood loss.
I cannot stress enough a focus on caution going forward. You cannot re-injure yourself. Healing will take time. I suggest you miss your following commitments to rest.
I am willing to speak on this more if need be.
Dr. Mikhailovna
Arina- Who the hell does this woman think she is? She suggests I miss Tropical Turmoil? Is she mad?! This is the third doctor who has spouted stupid ideas since I got to PRIME. With Alexei indisposed, I need you to get rid of her!!
Find someone who isn’t an idiot. Or maybe see if we can get Dr. Fihlguud to work for me instead, personally? It is worth a shot. Oh, and why not try to send Dr. Fihlguud a thank you letter. It is the least we can do.

Arina- My guts are falling out of me. Alexei is trapped in America. I have this match to prepare for. I DO NOT HAVE TIME TO DEAL WITH THIS WOMAN!!! YOU CAN TELL HER THAT IF I HAVE TO RETURN THAT OUTFIT I WILL DO SO BY SHOVING IT STRAIGHT UP HER ASS!!

From: Kindergarten Number 18. Moscow. Mrs. Kuliokov. 5th Grade.
Dear Praporshchik Stanislav,
Please find enclosed handwritten letters from our fifth grade class, expressing our support and love for you and all that you have done. I want to specifically draw to your attention the number of pieces of art which depict you as a superhero.
Praporshchik Stanislav. Your constant defense of Russia is admirable and many of my students wish to one day be like you when they grow up.
You are a superhero to them.
We love you. Please enjoy the artwork.
Mrs. Kuliokov
-Arina. These pieces of artwork are fantastic. I wish for every single one of them to be framed. Especially the one which depicts me stomping on Captain America. Have that framed and placed on my desk. Thank you.

Dear Staff,
Allow me to personally thank you for your continued efforts in our noble endeavor. Yes, my victory at Tropical Turmoil was fought, visibly, in the ring, but it is only through our collective work that true victory can be achieved.
I am very thankful for your work and help in all that I do. Your patience when we deal with adversity. Your tenacity when we deal with unexpected challenges. And your commitment not just to the cause but to myself.
For this, I am sincerely grateful and thankful for your dogged and inspiring efforts.
Our work never ends.
The struggle never concludes.
Onward to the Universal Title.
Let us show PRIME and America what true heroism looks like!
With Great Thanks,
Praporshchik Stanislav
P.S. Please enjoy the next two days off. With pay. Arina- Our superiors will not pay. Please deduct the funds from my personal account.

Private Message Sent to Ivan Stanislav
Ivan,
Since you have returned to Moscow victorious, I would very much like to celebrate together. We had little time to converse when you returned home victorious. I was, naturally, too busy working at the time to speak to you candidly.
I would prefer to remedy that.
How does an off-the-record dinner sound? Soon-To-Be Champion’s choice?
Looking forward to it,
Olga
Arina- Upon your return, please make arrangements at an upscale Moscow steakhouse. You may choose. Have my uniform pressed. Make arrangements for Ms. Karishnikov to be picked up at her apartment when a time is determined. Have flowers. Not a word to anyone about this. Thank you.
