The Saturday Night Specials are “The Innovator” Brock Newbludd and “Black Out” Pat Cassidy, two former singles wrestlers who have allied to climb to the top of the tag mountain. Newbludd is a freak athlete suplex machine from the midwest while Cassidy is a rowdy Boston-native who is more of an old-school brawler. What do they have in common? A love of drinking, fighting, and clowning around - in that order. They are tag partners in and out of the ring as co- proprietors of Ballyhoo Brew, a wrestling themed brewery/bar based out of New Orleans and which has become the unofficial DEFIANCE hang out spot. Brock and Pat have become even more like brothers now that Brock is dating Cassidy’s little sister Siobhan. These two party animals are quick witted on the mic and just as quick to back up their smack talk with a hard hitting approach in the ring.
